So with Men's fashion presentations starting tomorrow, every man in Paris or on his way, is scrambling to put those last minute touches to their looks. Myself included. Today I picked up the nail polish collection from Chanel. The color combo was for the beautiful SS '12 ready to wear line. The nail polish for the collection went well with the mostly lightly colored looks. The nail polishes made available this month were named after the Spring months. I'm very excited about that because my birthday is in April which is one of the color names.
Lets start there. The April color is a nice crimson colored varnish. Its not a bright red and much more subdued than I first thought it would be. May is represented by a very girly pink. It is not a bright color either but very bold. The last color is June. June is a refreshing orange color. This color would definitely need an extra coat, May also but April is good with one swipe. The orange in June has a great mix of nude with a bit of color. None of the colors are particularly bright. They have a crisp look to them that will work well with colors of the upcoming season.
